BETTY'S FIT TIPS
In general, Betty Designs endurance (swim/bike/run) products are designed with a "race fit". This means garments are supposed to be worn tight to the body. We do not recommend customers go up a size as it will compromise the performance features. Race fit does not mean extra tight. It means it IS tight to the body, but not restrictive. This fit will yield the best performance out of each garment. We use fabrics that are non-binding + contain 4-way stretch for comfort. No matter your size, our cycling, triathlon + swimsuits are meant to fit tight. The more they hug your body, the less chance of chafing, flapping fabric, drag in our swimsuits + less chance of irritation from fabrics rubbing in the incorrect areas. Betty believes that a Race Fit looks good on every size body. Yes. We are serious about that. Try us on for (your correct) size and see how it feels.

DOES BETTY DESIGNS RUN TRUE-TO-SIZE?
CYCLING APPAREL: Yes. Our cycling items fit true-to-size, but a tad on the slim side. If you you like a less compressive fit or are between sizes, go up a size. We recommend that bib shorts and all cycling shorts feel quite tight when on the body. Our druable, performance 4-way stretch Italian UPF+ fabrics are meant to be worn tight.You do not want any extra material as the leg bands can ride up or you might get chafing in the saddle area around the chamois. TRIATHLON APPAREL INCLUDING TRI SPORTS BRAS: Yes. Our triathlon items fit true-to-size, but a tad on the slim side. If you you like a less compressive fit or are between sizes, go up a size. Our durable, performance 4-way stretch Italian UPF+ fabrics are meant to be worn tight. There should be no wrinkle or gapping when you pull on these items. The sport of triathlon demands a lot out of the garment as it gets wet in the swim and then dries. If you are swimming without a wetsuit or swimskin for the swim portion they definitely need to be worn tight to the body. Triathlon apparel runs the same as our cycling and run items. RUN / SPORTS BRAS, RUN SHORTS, RUN TIGHTS: Yes. these items fit true-to-size, but a tad on the slim side. If you you like a less compressive fit or are between sizes, go up a size. Our Core Run line is made of the softest, bushed Italian fabric with no compression or leg bands at the hem of the shorts. They double as great sets for the gym, Hyrox, Pilates, yoga and other studio classes. Pockets on the bottoms are large enough to hold your phone. SWIM: Our swimsuits run small. This being said, we suggest you go up a size from your cycle/tri size in our bikinis. One pieces are a bit more challenging. There are a lot of factors in how a one piece fits depending on your shape, but keep in mind the one piece swimsuits should be a little hard to get into and feel "really tight" out of the package. Not kidding! As you swim the thin straps will "give" a smidge and become more comfortable. If you pull on this suit easily and it gaps slightly at your collarbone area, it's too big! BETTY'S MEASURING TIPS

- Under Bust / Chest Measurement Using a soft measuring tape, bring the tape across your back under each arm, around the front and measure just below the bust (a good guide is where your bra strap clasps).
- Full Hip Measurement Stand on a level surface with feet together. Measure around fullest part of hips and bottom (approximately 7" - 9" below waistline), keeping tape parallel with floor.
- Thigh Measurement Measure around the fullest part of thigh keeping tape parallel with floor.
